The Goliath grouper reaching lengths of over 8 feet (2.4 m) and weighing up to 680 pounds (300 kgs) is the largest species of grouper in the world.
The Goliath Grouper was formerly known as the Jewfish.
• The Goliath Grouper likes to hide in caves, wrecks and under ledges.
• The Goliath Grouper will eat crustaceans, fish, octopus and young sea turtles.
• They are a large fish found on the reefs of the Florida Keys, Bahamas, most of the Caribbean, and Brazil.
